Most all of us have heard the legend of John Henry, but did you know that there is evidence to prove that the events depicted in the song took place in Alabama?
On September 15th in Leeds, Alabama, the Alabama Folklife Association, the Leeds Historical Society and the Leeds Arts Council are sponsoring an all-day event honoring the man and his legend.
