The Birmingham Public Library has scanned and placed online an 1896 Birmingham Church Directory compiled by Fred Green; nine Birmingham churches are included. Each listing gives a brief history of the church AND the names of each member in 1896. And here is the best part, it is searchable, so you don’t have to know to which church your ancestor/family was a member.
