Semper Fidelis Club, a club for black women, was founded 110 years ago. They have donated their records to the Birmingham Public Library Archives.

  1. we are john and margaret o hare from Ireland and trying to trace our american O Hare family. we know in the early 1900s they were living in birmingham,alabama. they were john o hare and mary josephine campbell. we think some of the children lived with mary josephine campbell brothers and sisters after their parents died. could anyone help us trace our family as we are hitting dead ends here in Ireland. we can post further information on the family if anyone could help
