Rev. Marcell Burchfield passed away April 5, 2012. His obituary is in the Sunday edition (8 April 2012) of the Birmingham News. Rev. Burchfield and his wife, Martha, who passed away last year, were long-time active members of BGS serving in virtually every office in the Society. Rev. Burchfield printed and published our magazine, “Pioneer Trails,” for many years.
