BGS’ Earl Massey to speak at Trussville Historical Society

The Trussville Historical Society will host an ice cream social Sunday, August 26th, with a talk given by local author Earl Massey. The social will be at ACTA Theatre, 225 Parkway Drive, from 2-4 p.m. Massey, an Argo native, will talk about the history of Trussville’s schools and tell of some famous graduates, said historical society president Donette Plant. Massey and his wife, Carol Massey, wrote a book that chronicled the city’s history called “Trussville Through the Years.”
